Scholarship

Educational pursuits go hand-in-hand with our values. The community adheres to core values that are expressed through a commitment to a search for knowledge for the betterment of self and society; embracing diversity and pluralism by building bridges of peace and understanding; and generously sharing of one’s time, talents, and material resources to improve the quality of life of the community and those among whom they live. As such we try to support scholarship in the Albanian community at every turn.

Bektashism is growing quickly around the world. Despite being one of the most widely practiced paths in Albania, Bektashi are still a religious minority in the United States. However, there are scholarship opportunities available to Bektashi students. The Bektashi community wants their members to be well-educated and some Sufi organizations provide scholarships to Bektashi students who need help paying for school. Also, many college campuses offer more financial aid to minority students to foster campus diversity.

For a complete list of Bektashi scholarships, as well as other scholarships, please see the bottom of this page. Learn more by sending us your student information and take the first step towards funding your education.
